Maintaining Links

Here at Airthrie we believe that residents should maintain personal links with Family and Friends. The CQC show that a Service should protect people from the risk of social isolation and loneliness

We do this by allowing frequent visits from residents families and friends and we also include residents families and friends in many events such as birthday parties. By doing this we ensure that Family and friends are regularly involved in a meaningful way

We also allow family to have a say in the care their family member receive, the CQC said:

Relatives told us they were involved in the care planning process and also during reviews
